Just moved from Fayetteville down to Little Rock and my car insurance jumped up by like 30 bucks a month. Same car, same driving record, everything identical. I mean, I get that it's a bigger city and all, but is it really THAT much riskier here? Feels kinda steep for just moving a couple hours south. Anybody else had this happen or know why the difference is so noticeable?

Yeah, it's definitely noticeable. Little Rock tends to have higher claim rates overallβmore traffic density, more intersections, and unfortunately, higher theft and vandalism stats compared to Fayetteville. Insurance companies crunch these numbers down to zip codes even, so moving just a couple hours south can surprisingly bump your premium. Had a buddy move from Conway into LR proper last year and he saw the same jump...pretty common actually.
